A: We have fourteen employees and handle all of the carpentry work. We sub out the mechanical tasks, (HVAC,electrical, plumbing) as well as painting, tile, hardwood floors, masonry, and larger concrete jobs.
A: Our in-house architect is Iden McWhorter, who has a Masters Degree in Architecture from University of Florida. We also work closely with several other architects and would be glad to make a recommendation. We design cabinetry and furniture in-house, or we can work with your architect or interior designer if you like. We are very adept at solving design problems in the field once work begins.
A: You are provided with the actual invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, and the labor sheets from our workers, and a mark-up is added (usually 20%). You are only paying for the actual "Cost" of the work "Plus" a percentage for our profit and overhead. There is no factor built-in to inflate costs to cover possible errors or delays. You only pay for the work that is actually done as it is taking place. No money is paid up front, except to order special items such as custom windows or doors, and a deposit is required for custom cabinets or furniture.
